SULPHUR-Graveside services for Norma Inez Box, 84, Sulphur, formerly of Roff are 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at the Rosedale Cemetery, Rev. Seth Johnson will officiate.
Mrs. Box died Sunday, May 23, 2010 at a Sulphur hospital. She was born August 25, 1925 at Marshall, Arkansas to Fred and Maude Treadwell Brown.
She married Bill Box on April 11, 1946 at Oklahoma City. He preceded her in death on June 11, 1988. Mrs. Box moved to the Roff area in 1960 from Oklahoma City. She was a nurse at Valley View Regional Hospital from 1964 until 1973 and later a house mother at the Oklahoma School for the Deaf in Sulphur. She was a member of the Roff First Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, Bill Box and wife Barbara, Roff; one daughter, Shari Todd and husband Eric, Ada; four grandchildren, Doug and Melanie Todd, Dean and Verna Todd, Vonda and Tim Vinyard and Crystal Box; and four great grandchildren, Gavin Todd, Josh Kendrick, Baylee Vinyard and Brady Vinyard.
