LEONA SIMMONS
ADA-Services for Nora Leona Simmons, 59, Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Teresa Ray will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
Mrs. Simmons died Thursday, October 9, 2008 at her home. She was born March 4, 1949 at Allen, Oklahoma to C. C. and Mary Lou Knighten Manuel. She attended Allen and Byng schools.
She married Ray Simmons on September 16, 1966 at Poplar, California. Mrs. Simmons was a homemaker and affiliated with the Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Survivors include her husband, Ray Simmons, of the home; a daughter, Teresa Key, Ada; her parents, C. C. and Mary Lou Manuel, Ada; four grandchildren, Timothy Brian Williams, Ada, Christopher Daniel Williams, Allen, Teresa Denise Williams, Ada, and Elizabeth Raylene Williams, Ada; and a great grandson, Ryan Brendon Dill, Ada.
Bearers will be Chris Williams, Tim Williams, Joe Odom, Robbie Odom, Chase Lancaster and Paul Sweeney. Honorary bearers are Mike Odom and Marty Odom.
