NONA PARKS
NORMAN, OK-Graveside services for Nona B. Parks, 81, Norman, are 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Cedar Grove Cemetery in Francis, OK. Dale Dunagan will officiate.
Mr. Parks died Tuesday, June 1, 2010 at a Norman nursing home. He was born October 20, 1928 at Hammond, Oklahoma to Carl and Lillie Parks. He attended school in Noble.
Mr. Parks married Faye Attaway in 1954. He later married Colleen Farr in 1974 in Comanche County, Oklahoma. Mr. Parks was a heavy equipment mechanic until his retirement.
Survivors include his wife, Colleen Parks, of the home; a daughter, Debra K. Parks Atkins and her husband Bill, Rockport, TX; a son, Larry W. Parks and his wife Pam, Norman; two brothers, Jim Parks and wife Peggy, Francis, OK, and Carl Parks Jr. and wife JoAnn, Houston, TX; two sisters, Ruby Dawson, Dallas, TX, and Patricia Coleman and husband Joe, Sterling, OK; and numerous grandchildren and other family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl Parks and Lillie Morton Parks; a son, Roy Lee Parks; and his first wife, Faye Attaway Parks.
