Nina Stephens

Services for Nina Sue Stephens, 77, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel. Her nephew, Rev. Steve Allen will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.

Mrs. Stephens passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was born February 9, 1940 at Ada to George Albert "Pete" and Essie M. White Allen. She attended Latta schools.

She married Donald Clay Stephens March 8, 1958 in Texas. He preceded her in death September 16, 1988. Mrs. Stephens was an Assistant Manager of Braum's Restaurant and had also been a Manager of Dairy Queen Restaurant in Ada.

Survivors include her son, Freddie Don Stephens of Ada; her daughter, Crystal (Stephens) Merrell of Ada; her grandson, Mitchell Clay Merrell of Ada; one sister, Reba Allen Hazday of Pickett; one brother, Freddie K. Allen of Pickett; a special niece, Sheri Wilkerson of Ada; and other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Donald Clay Stephens; and two brothers, Milburn "Skunky" Allen and Jerry Lee Allen.

Bearers will be Danny Love, Charles "Chuck" Love, Justin Dansby, Nathan Brundidge, Russell Brundidge and Mike Davis.
