Neva Glover

Services for Neva Joyce Glover, 87, of Stratford, are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at Center Free Will Baptist Church; Rev. Earl Hood will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Glover passed away Saturday, October 3, 2026, in Oklahoma City. She was born September 14, 1939, in Stratford, to Varduman Bertie and Irene Robertson Chilcoat.

On August 31, 1957, she married Charles Eddie Glover. He preceded her in death on April 11, 2012.

She was a woman who lived life with a sense of adventure, a love of movement, and a joyful spirit. She loved line dancing and treasured the time spent traveling with Charles, especially their adventures in Mexico.

An adventurer at heart, she was always willing to try something new. She enjoyed bicycling, rock climbing, kayaking, rappelling, and swimming—embracing each experience with courage and enthusiasm. Whether she was dancing, traveling, exploring the outdoors, or sharing an adventure with someone she loved, she brought energy and joy to the moment.

Her adventurous spirit, love of life, and the memories she created with family and friends will be deeply cherished and remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her two sons, Eddie Glover and wife, Angie, of Yukon, and Regie Glover and wife, Dana, of Oklahoma City; three sisters, Jerlene Kimker and husband, Klaholt, of Edmond, Pam Fowler, of Oklahoma City, and Carma Chilcoat; grandchildren, Derrick Glover and wife, Lindsey, Mitchell Glover and wife, Pamela, Tré Glover and wife, Amanda, Kayla Glover, and Kalli Bacon, and husband, Shawn; and great grandchildren, Steven Glover, Greyson Glover, Maggie Glover, Gavin Glover, Nicholas Glover, Ryder Johnson, Kaydence Lopez, Kennadi Lopez, Keiryn Bacon, and Aubree Bacon.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles; her parents; and her brother, Levon Chilcoat.
