Services for Nell Dean Dennis, 78, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Southwest Church of Christ, Brett McKnight will officiate.

Mrs. Dennis died August 24, 2021 at her home. She was born March 8, 1943 in Ada to Eugene and Gladys Hudson Woods.  She attended Clarita school and graduated from Tupelo High School.

She married Marvin Leon Dennis December 15, 1962.  Mrs. Dennis attended East Central University, Southwestern Oklahoma State and the University of Oklahoma.  Over the years she was a homemaker, public school teacher, adult educator and business manager.  She presently attended the Southwest Church of Christ in Ada and previously was a preacher's wife in Lawton, Weatherford and Norman for over 50 years.

Survivors include her husband, of the home; two sons, Dr. Bruce Dennis and wife Sheri of Ada and Dr. Brent Dennis and wife Laura of Tulsa; seven grandchildren, Zac and Lavon Dennis, Edmond, Holly and Casey Farrar, Ada, Coleman and Jocelyn Dennis, Little Rock AR, Ryan Dennis, Henderson, TN, Zane Dennis, Nashville, TN, Ethan Dennis, Los Angeles, CA and Abby Dennis, Waco, TX; three great-grandchildren, Lawson, Graham and Hudson.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Bearers will be Charles Hudson, John Hager, Paul Crawford, Greg Giltner, Mickey Cooper and Tony Graham.
