ADA-Memorial services for Naomi Margueritte Wear, 77, Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Jackie Caton will officiate.
Mrs. Wear died Sunday, February 27, 2011 at a local hospital. She was born October 31, 1933 at Butler, Oklahoma to Elmer and Mary J. Mason Smith. She graduated from Mt. View High School.
She married Clyde H. Wear. He preceded her in death on August 28, 1997. Mrs. Wear was a housekeeper at Ada Retirement and Care Center and later a former owner of a daycare center in Ada for several years. She was an avid gardener.
Survivors include two daughters, Sharell Caton and her husband Jackie, Ada, and Phyllis Replogle and her husband Stanley, Broken Arrow; two sons, Randall Wear and his wife Connie, Ada, and Gary Wear and Larry Chandler, Ada; three sisters, Doris McAlister, Dallas, TX, Edith Fenter, Kingston, and Ruth Davidson, Arkansas; one brother, Mason Smith, Byng; 8 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and her beloved dog, Schnitzel.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Welch.
