Naomi Vandeveer

Services for Naomi Ruth Vandeveer, 87, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Pryor Cemetery Chapel in Stuart, Rev. Buddy Drake will officiate. Burial will follow Pryor Cemetery.

Ms. Vandeveer passed away Sunday, July 8, 2018 at her home. She was born November 7, 1930 at Stuart to John D. and Ruth Williams Godwin.

Ms. Vandeveer was a Licensed Practical Nurse at Valley View Regional Hospital and McCall's Chapel until her retirement.

Survivors include two sons, Lan Vandeveer and wife Kelsey of Ada and Scott Vandeveer and wife Judy of Ada; her grandchildren, Jennifer Owen and husband Walter, Amber Savage and husband Pat, Chris Vandeveer and wife Paula, and Tyler Vandeveer and wife Kayla; her great-grandchildren, C. J. and Dash Owen; Logan Pollard, Eli, Gracie and Jack Savage; William Vandeveer and Addison Vandeveer; and a brother, J. D. Godwin and wife Linda of McAlester.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Elson Vandeveer; and a sister, Virginia Williams.
