Ruth Hice
Services for Naomi Ruth Hice, 82, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Dan Cusher will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Hice passed away Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at her home. She was born March 19, 1933 in Ada to Thomas H. and Bessie Howard Shook. She attended grade school and high school in Ada and graduated from Horace Mann High School. She received a degree in Licensed Practical Nursing August 16, 1985.
She married Billy Ray Hice. He preceded her in death July 16, 2001. Mrs. Hice was a licensed practical nurse at Valley View Regional Hospital, retiring after 32 years of service. She attended Ahloso Baptist Church and she enjoyed quilting, drawing, painting, crocheting and cooking.
Survivors include five daughters, Cheryl Kymes and husband Dennis, Carroll Dildine and husband Stu, Jerri DeWalt and husband David, Whitney Dean and husband Steven and Billie Womack and husband Matt; two sons, Steven Hice and wife Catherine and Chris Hice and wife Melanie; 14 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a sister, Frances Lorraine Shook; a grandson; and a great-granddaughter.
Bearers will be Steven Hice, Chris Hice, Wayne Chronister, Willie Cranford, Andrew Cowart, Josh Dildine and Jonathan Woods.
