SUE ALLEN
ADA-Services for Nancy Sue Allen, 74, Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Colbert Baptist Church, Rev. Steve Allen will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
Mrs. Allen died Saturday, November 28, 2009 at a Shawnee hospital. She was born February 7, 1935 in Pontotoc County, Oklahoma to Caleb Perry and Alice Killian Gann. She attended Byng High School.
She married Jerry Allen on June 14, 1952 in Pontotoc County. He preceded her in death on April 8, 2001 in Ada. They were married for 48 years. Mrs. Allen was a homemaker and a member of Colbert Baptist Church in Ada.
Survivors include two daughters, Kay Johnson, Perkinston, MS and Gerrye Beene, Ada; two sons, Steve Allen, Fanwood, NJ and Jeff Allen, Ada; six grandsons, Kenny and Kristopher Johnson, Johnny Lee and Justin Glaspey, Braden Allen and Steven Lear; four granddaughters, Angela Khoury, Michala and Madison Allen and Ashlie Allen; and six great grandchildren, Annie and Billy Wall, Jayson, Austyn, Brayden and Eryn Khoury.
She was preceded in death by her husband and a daughter, Barbara Cox.
Bearers will be Justin Glaspey, Aron Khoury, James Allen, Chuck Love, Danny Love, Connie Guy and Richard Byrd. Honorary bearers will be Tinker Johnson, Don Beene and Fred Allen.
