Nancy Barker

Services for Nancy Jean Barker, 86, of Ada are 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Fr. Aaron Foshee will officiate.

Mrs. Barker died Sunday, January 24, 2021 at a local nursing home. She was born March 4, 1934 in Cloverdale, IN to Frances Denny Collins.

She was homemaker, a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Missionary Sisters of St. Charles Borromeo, Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Winston Park Women's Guild, Oak Park and River Forest Infant Welfare Society, and tirelessly coached three daughter's softball teams and was a Scout Leader.

Survivors include her children, Jodi (Gary) Cooper, Edmond, and Amy (Rodney) Goad, Ada; daughter-in-law, Teresa Leon, Ada; ten grandchildren, Crystal (Tami) Doepke, Ada, Mark Musshafen, Loralei (Justin) Gann, Norman, Hannah (La'Darruis) Donwell, Oklahoma City, Phillip (Sheridan) Leon, Ada, Antaza (Zach) Braun, Ada, Ryan (Paige) Leon, Ada, Jesse Scott, Ada, Chelcee Leon, Ada and Beth (Michael) Richmond, Edmond; numerous great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Frances Collins; two sons, Joseph Charles Leon and James Phillip Leon; and a daughter, Carol Ann Leon.
