NANCY BALLARD O'NEILL
ALLEN-Memorial services for Nancy Annice Ballard O'Neill, 65, of Allen, are 12:00 noon Wednesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Tony Folger will officiate and Wayne McQuaid will assist.
Mrs. O'Neill died Saturday, March 2, 2013 at her home. She was born June 23, 1947 in Ada, Oklahoma to Bowie C. Ballard, Jr. and Nancy Jane Petitti Ballard. She attended Ada City schools and graduated from Ada High School in 1965. She was a drum majorette; band Queen, Rodeo Queen and Eastern Star and Worthy Advisor for the Order of Rainbow for girls. She also participated in many rodeo activities in the area. She attended East Central University in Ada.
She married Timothy John O'Neill on June 28, 1994. Tim and Nancy lived on their ranch in Allen where they raised and showed cutting horses. She was also a homemaker and previously had been a flight attendant for Delta Airlines. Mrs. O'Neill was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ada.
Survivors include her husband, Timothy O'Neill, of the home; two daughters, Amber Annice McCurdy and her husband Byron of Ada, and Katy Book and her husband Jobie, of Prairie Grove, AR; three sons, Jason Lee Smith, Savannah, GA, Patrick O'Neill and his wife Jill, Ada, and James O'Neill and his wife Jennifer of Edmond; two brothers, Wayne McQuaid and his wife Peggy, Houston, TX, and Chad Ballard and his wife Sherri of Bethany; two sisters, Loretta Feiler and her husband Chris of Ada, and Mary Jon Ballard of Ada; her grandchildren, Jordan and Morgan McCurdy and Taylor and Mikayla Smith; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
