NADINE WHEELER
ADA-Graveside services for Nadine Wheeler, 81, Ada, are 10 a.m. Tuesday at Rosedale Cemetery, Rev. Jim Caton will officiate.
Mrs. Wheeler died Friday, July 29, 2011, at a Wynnewood care center. She was born Jan. 25, 1930, to William and Lucille Griffeth McDowell at Ft. Worth, Texas. She graduated from Horace Mann High School in Ada.
She married Patrick Murphy Wheeler on September 11, 1954. He preceded her in death on August 8, 1973. She was employed at KTEN Television and KADA Radio as an advertising representative until her retirement in 1990. She was a member of Oak Hills Golf and Country Club for over 50 years and was an avid golfer and tennis player. She was married to Patrick Murphy Wheeler.
Survivors include a daughter, Lin Sanders, Ada and a grandson, Chase Sanders, Ada.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a brother, Col. William Robert McDowell; and two sons, Steven Wheeler and Patrick Murphy Wheeler Jr.
