NADINE MARION
ADA-Services for Nadine Effie Marion, 77, of Ada, are 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Frank Trent will officiate. Burial will be 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Speermoore Cemetery at Laverne, Oklahoma.
Mrs. Marion died Sunday, November 10, 2013 at a Pauls Valley hospital. She was born April 24, 1936 in Clinton, Oklahoma to Clarence Everett and Olive Velma Fox. She graduated from high school and also attended business college.
She married George Cornelius Marion on April 24, 1987 in Ada. He preceded her in death on Sunday, October 27, 2013. Mrs. Marion was employed at Valley View Regional Hospital in the Purchasing Department until her retirement. She was a member of Calvary Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Survivors include a son, Lloyd Lee Fox of Ada; a daughter, Shannon Moore of Denver, CO; two sisters, Clarene Deroulet and husband Vince of Stonewall and Ann Heckart and husband Bill of Breckenridge, TX; a brother, Frank L.Fox and wife Juanita of Durham, CA; her step-children, Connie Tillery, Peggy Sowell, Jane Marion, Sandy Marion, Jo Marion, Bud Marion and Mark Marion; three nieces, Debbie Laudel, Joanne Scott, and Laurinda Scott, all of Modesto, CA; an aunt, Marie Fullerton, Wichita, KS; many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and an infant son, C. E. Harris; a sister, Verna Scott; and foster-brother, Chester L. Potter.
