MYRLE WOOD
STONEWALL-Services for Myrle Dean Wood, 79, Stonewall, are 2:00 p.m. Thursday at the Union Valley Baptist Church, Rev. Randall Christy will officiate.
Mr. Wood died Sunday, February 24, 2008 at a local nursing home. He was born August 26, 1928 at Eldorado, Oklahoma to Claude Elbert and Lula Hamersley Wood.
He married Edna Sue Humes on August 4, 1982 at Gainesville, Texas. He attended the Union Hill Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Edna Sue Wood, of the home; two sisters, Velma Josie James, Stonewall and Mildred Gettings, Orlando, Florida; a brother, Lewis Jack Wood, Stonewall; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers and sisters, Roy Wood, Lee Wood, L. K. Wood, Bessie Bolen, and his twin, Earl Wood.
