Services for Myra Jane Skinner, 67, of Ada are 10:00 AM Friday, January 19, 2024 at the Chickasaw Community Center.

Mrs. Skinner was born March 16, 1956 in Tuscola, ILL. to Harold Bill and Miriam Louise Elkins McElwee.  She passed away Sunday, January 14, 2024 in Ada.

Mrs. Skinner graduated from Byng High School.  On February 28, 1991 she married Randall Scott Skinner in Yale, OK.  She was a CNA all her life working the past 20 plus years with the Chickasaw Nation.  She received the Support Staff award twice with the last time being May 2023.

She is survived by her husband, Randall Skinner of Ada; one daughter, Audrea Keller and husband Curtis of Ada; grandchildren, August and Nickalas Keller of Ada; two sisters, Mary Norman of Pauls Valley and Vicki Duval and husband Steve of Shawnee; two nephews, Raiden Smith and Brooks Green; and her second family, the Chickasaw Nation Acute Care Nurses.

Mrs. Skinner was preceded in death by her first husband, Joe Coots; parents, Bill and Miriam Louise Elkins McElwee; sister, Suzanne Cook; three brothers, Gary McElwee, Johnny McElwee, and Billy McElwee; and her grandparents.
