MORRIS BRYANT
ADA-Graveside services for Morris L. Bryant, 73, of Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Allen Cemetery, Rev. Gary Caldwell will officiate.
Mr. Bryant died Sunday, May 11, 2014 at a local hospital. He was born October 4, 1940 in Allen, Oklahoma to Lee Arlin and Gladys Moondy Bryant. He graduated from Allen High School.
He married Bobbie Jean Lively on April 18, 1959 in Atwood, Oklahoma. Mr. Bryant was a butcher for Safeway and Homeland Grocery Stores until his retirement. He served in the Oklahoma National Guard.
Survivors include his wife, Bobbie Bryant, of the home; two sons, Phillip Bryant of Byng and Greg Bryant of Ada; two sisters, Barbara Caldwell of Ada, and Sandra Garrett and her husband Corky of Wynnewood; three grandchildren, Shane Bryant and his wife Jennifer of Francis, Paris Smith and her husband Mitchell of Ada, and Chase Bryant and his wife Stasha of Ada; three great grandchildren, A. J. Bryant, Josie Bryant and Lakely Bryant; and several nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Wanda Lindley and Pat Gray; and 3 brothers-in-law, Bill Caldwell, Elvin Lindley and Pete Gray.
