Monty Faulkenberry

Services for Monty Craig Faulkenberry, 59, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Monday at the Trinity Baptist Church, Rev. David Gray and Dr. Rusty Fuller will officiate. The family will receive relatives and friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mr. Faulkenberry died Thursday, November 8, 2018 at a local hospital. He was born July 27, 1959 in Ada to Vernon "Jelly" and Laverna Gilley Faulkenberry.

He married DeNice Ford on August 31, 1993 in Ada. Mr. Faulkenberry was a carpenter and a member of the Trinity Baptist Church where he was involved in prison ministry.

Survivors include his wife, DeNice, of the home; two sons, Tanner Winton and Jacob Faulkenberry; and a daughter, Audrey Faulkenberry.

He was preceded in death by his son, Tyler Ford; his parents; and grandparents, Louis and Viola Gilley and Willy C. and Maude Faulkenberry.

Bearers will be, Mike Caras, Terry Abney, Arvy Howell, Cliff Robbins, Barry Lancaster, Greg Straughn and Duane Baker.

The family requests in lieu of flowers, donation be made to Vision Bank, 101 E. Main, Ada, OK 74820, in care of Tanner, Jacob and Audrey's college fund.
