MONROE FENNELL
ROFF-Services for Monroe Lee Fennell, 88, of Roff, are 10:00 a.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Paul Jackson will officiate. Burial will follow at East Hill Cemetery in Roff.
Mr. Fennell died Tuesday, June 26, 2012 at a local nursing home. He was born February 9, 1924 in Rufe, Oklahoma to J. T. and Ida Choate Fennell. He and his family moved to Roff in 1928.
He married Geneva Dilbeck on August 14, 1954 in Roff. Mr. Fennell was employed with Mid Continent Sand Plant and later with Blue Valley Ranch in Roff. He served with the Roff Volunteer Fire Department for over 20 years.
Survivors include his wife, Geneva Fennell, of the home; two daughters, Becky Pennington of Roff and Patty Ray of Roff; a son, Carl Dilbeck; three brothers, Bob Fennell and wife Bobbie of Ada, Leroy Fennell and wife Sharon of Oak Grove, and John Fennell and wife Marti of Clifton Park, NY; two sisters, Faye Fritts of Colorado, and Margie Antonopolis of California; his grandchildren, Jason Pennington, Derrick Ray and wife Tessa, Lacy Pennington and Jennifer Andrews and husband Shane; and three great grandchildren, Brinlee Andrews, Brox Ray and Colt Ray.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Marshall Fennell and Bill Fennell; a sister, Lottie Mae Fennell; and a great grandson, Brody Lee Ray.
Bearers will be Bobby Fennell, Jason Pennington, Derrick Ray, Shane Andrews, Larry Horton, Gerald Underwood and Jeff Shaw.
