MONNIE MARTIN
ADA-Graveside services for Monnie Martin, 93, Ada, 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the Pontotoc Cemetery, Rev. Earl Hood will officiate.
Mrs. Martin died Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at a local nursing home. She was born September 10, 1914 at Fittstown, Oklahoma to Luke and Amanda Colbert Ross. She attended Pontotoc schools.
She married Robert Martin. He died June 28, 1998. Mrs. Martin was a homemaker and a member of Blue Baptist Church at Connerville.
Survivors include two son, Bobby Martin, Ada, and Bill Loman, Fittstown; grandchildren, Billy Loman, Fittstown, Ashley Martin, New Orleans, LA, and Brad Sullivan, Ardmore.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a daughter, Patsy Jean Layn, and a grandson, Dicki Layn.
