MONA FERGUSON
ADA-Services for Mona Ann Ferguson, 69, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Kenneth Butler will officiate. Burial will follow at Greenhill Cemetery in Lindsay.
Mrs. Ferguson died Thursday, May 31, 2012 at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was born September 18, 1942 in Lindsay, Oklahoma to William Earl and Grace Geneva Goodman Ramsey. She attended grade school in Bradley and Lindsay and also attended Lindsay High School.
She married Louie Joe Ferguson on October 17, 1964 in Lindsay. He preceded her in death on October 25, 1990 in Oil Center, Oklahoma. Mrs. Ferguson was a professional housekeeper, a Girl Scout Leader, a member of the Parent-Teacher Association, and Ladies Auxiliary. She was of the Pentecostal faith.
Survivors include three daughters, Kristia Anderson and Geri Schubert, both of Ada, and Trina Ferguson of Arlington, TX; two sons, Michal Ferguson and Dustin Ferguson, both of Norman; two brothers, Teddy Ramsey of McKinney, TX and Gary Ramsey of Lindsay; a sister, Carolyn Robbins of Ada; five grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Earl Ramsey and Grace Geneva Farve; her husband, Louie Joe Ferguson; a sister, Dortha June Garrison; and a brother, Earl Dean Ramsey.
Bearers will be Jerry Anderson, Leroy Cooksey, Robert Davis, Mark Schubert, Ian Schubert and Ari Schubert.
