OKLAHOMA CITY-Graveside services for Millie Maude Scott Chaffin, 96, of Oklahoma City, formerly of Stonewall are 12:00 Noon Saturday at Highland Cemetery in Stonewall. Rev. David L. Daniel will officiate.
Mrs. Chaffin died Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at an assisted living center in Oklahoma City. She was born November 18, 1917 in Stonewall, Oklahoma to Joseph Riley and Millie Mae Beck Scott. She graduated from Stonewall High School.
She married Jude P. Chaffin on June 7, 1942. He preceded her in death on August 24, 2003. Mrs. Chaffin was employed with the Oklahoma Tax Commission and affiliated with the Church of Christ.
Survivors include two daughters, Jayne Chaffin and husband Robert Stokes of Oklahoma City, and Judy Wiley and her husband Ron of Tulsa; a sister, Drucilla Denney of Roswell, New Mexico; three grandchildren, Lindsay Brown, Jordan Wiley and Leah Stokes; and three great grandchildren, Tyler Kruithof, Megan Kruithof and Tristan Brown.
