MILDRED CLARK

ADA-Services for Mildred Evelyn Brown Clark, 85, Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Southwest Church of Christ, Floyd Kaiser assisted by Lance Huntsman will officiate. Burial will follow at McGee Cemetery near Stratford. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Clark died Sunday, February 28, 2010 at a local nursing home. She was born April 24, 1924 at Stratford, Oklahoma to John Richard and Jerrusia Arminda White Brown.

She married Lockard Whit Hyden October 1940. He preceded her in death. She later married John Roy Clark 1959. He preceded her in death in 1985. She moved to this area in 1971 from Missouri. She received her GED and also attended the Byng Vocational-Technical Licensed Practical Nurse Program. Mrs. Clark was a LPN employed with Valley View Regional Hospital for six years and a longtime member of Southwest Church of Christ.

Survivors include seven daughters, Barbara West and husband Ed, Gaar Corner, Gene Redenius and husband Harvey, Ada, Carol Fowler and husband Richard, Ada, Marsha Maulsby and husband Pat, Joplin, MO, Debra Russell, Las Cruces, New Mexico, Diana Wiley and husband James, Maud, and Jannie Scarberry and husband Robert, Houston, TX; four sons, Dennis Hyden and wife Kelli, Stratford, Harold Hyden, Jackson, MO, Ronald Hyden and wife Sandi, Arlington, TX, and Timothy Clark and wife Michelle, Santa Cruz, California; 38 grandchildren; many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Bearers will be her grandsons, Dan West, Jeff Driscol, James Fowler, Denny Hyden, Markis Hyden, Brett Hyden, Karl Tyler II, and Joseph Hayes. Honorary bearers will be Mike Driscol, Rick Fowler, Harold Hyden Jr., Tommy Hyden, Sean and Chad Maulsby, Chase Tyler, and Austin and Tyler Scarberry.
