Services for Miguel Lerma, 57, of Ada are 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 6, 2022 at Saint Joseph Catholic Church.  Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.  Visitation will be held Saturday, June 4 from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Miguel passed away peacefully on June 1, 2022 at the Oklahoma Heart Hospital.  His loving wife, Catarina Rodriguez-Lerma was by his side.

He was born in Durango, Mexico on January 7, 1965 to Manuel Lerma and Sofia Rodriguez.  He worked from a very young age in construction for many years.  He married Maria Isabel Irigoyen in Durango, Mexico and she preceded him in death on July 8, 2010.  He later married Catarina in September 2012.  Mr. Lerma worked at Solo Cup now known as Dart since July 2003 to present.

Survivors include his wife, Catarina Rodriguez-Lerma of the home; one son, Miguel Lerma-Irigoyen and wife Fabiola Mirelez; one daughter, Selene Lerma Irigoyen and husband Jorge Quinones, both of Durango, Mexico; four step-children, Julio Cesar Sotelo Jr. and wife Angela Vaughn, of Ardmore, Ruben Sotelo and wife Jennifer, of Stillwater, Emma Lee Sotelo and boyfriend Jason Beal, of Ada; Jose Manuel Sotelo and wife Crystal, of Mustang; seven brothers, Arturo Lerma and wife Rosa, of Ada, Gerardo Lerma and wife Nicole, of Allen, Juan Lerma, Manuel Lerma, Francisco Lerma, Antonio Lerma, Carlos Lerma; three sisters, Estela Lerma, Reyna Lerma and Yeni Lerma, all of Durango, MX; 18 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Maria Isabel Irigoyen; father, Manuel Lerma; mother, Sofia Rodriguez and his paternal and maternal grandparents.

Bearers will be Miguel Lerma Irigoyen, Arturo Lerma, Gerardo Lerma, Julio Sotelo Jr., Ruben Sotelo and Jose Manuel (Joey) Sotelo.  Honorary bearers will be Michael Rodriguez, Jesus Lerma and Carlos Lerma.
