Michael Shaw

Memorial services for Michael Don Shaw, 76, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Earl Scroggins will officiate. The Marine Honor Guard will conduct military honors.

Mr. Shaw passed away Friday, October 21, 2016 at an Ada hospital. He was born February 17, 1940 at Seminole to Alvis Floyd and Mary Augustine Camp Shaw. He graduated from Byng High School.

He married Theresa J. Luescher February 11, 1981 in Stroud. Mr. Shaw was a truck driver until his retirement. He was of the Baptist faith and had served in the U. S. Marines. He did three tours in Vietnam.

Survivors include his wife, Theresa, of the home; his children, Jeremiah Shaw, of the home, Kelly Russell and husband Thad of Oakman, Thresa Ross and husband Roy of Oakman, Michelle Cole and Chris of Ada, Keith Brock and wife Sheri of Phoenix, AZ, Michael Shaw and wife Amber of Shawnee, Maggie Wolfe of Mississippi, and Ethan "Woodrow" Shaw and Samantha of Roff; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and two sisters, Mary Ann Cox and Kay Altman.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Karla Sue Ranells.
