Michael Ragland

Services for Michael Edward Ragland, 67, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 21, 2020 at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Earl Hood will officiate. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Sunday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mr. Ragland passed away Friday, September 18, 2020 at his home. He was born May 1, 1953 in Ada to James Edward and Viola Mae Chronister Ragland. He attended Latta and Vanoss schools.

He married Jan Ackley February 10, 2006. Mr. Ragland was a self-employed pumper for a septic tank service. He was a race horse trainer, had a wrecker service and also was a vehicle trader.

Survivors include his wife, Jan, of the home; two daughters, Michelle Farris and husband Blake, Muskogee and Raeven Ragland, Lawton; two sons, Rhett Ragland, Ada and Trent Ragland, Norman; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Linda Magaw and husband Howard, Ada and Leta Hayes, Ada; and a brother, Lewis Ragland, Ada.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a daughter, Jennifer Ragland Batchelor.

Honorary bearers will be Kevin Haney, Chillie Joe Bills and Derrick Smith.
