Memorial services for Michael S. Maxwell, 61, of Edmond, formerly of Allen will be held at a later date this spring.

Mr. Maxwell passed Tuesday, December 20, 2022. He was born May 5, 1961 at Ada, OK to Sidney and Pauline Yarbough Maxwell. He attended Allen schools and graduated from Allen High School.

He was self-educated in his profession and very proficient in English. He was a Technical Writer and Proposal Writer in Legal Documents. Mr. Maxwell was affiliated with the Church of Christ and had served in the U. S. Army from 1979 – 1981. He served as a Tactical Satellite Control System Operator.

Survivors include a brother, Larry Maxwell; sister, Beverly Carr; nieces, Kara Wilson, Stephanie Wilson, Kaitlyn Hatton, JoAnn Maxwell and Sandra Maxwell; and his nephews, Kenneth Maxwell and Dustin Joyner.
