MICHAEL CARTER
ADA-Services for Michael Eugene Carter, 62, of Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Randy Golden will officiate. Burial will follow at Lightning Ridge Cemetery.
Mr. Carter died Friday, May 1, 2015, at an Ada hospital. He was born August 15, 1952, in Bowling Green, Kentucky. He graduated from high school and attended college. Mr. Carter was an ordained minister and had worked at Dollar General Stores warehouse in Ardmore and had been a forklift operator for Solo Cup Company for 16 years. He was of the Baptist faith.

He married Jewell Dean McCullar July 16, 1996, in Ada.
Survivors include his wife, Jewell Carter, of the home; his step-children, Ronald Lee McCullar of Ada, Alvis James Miller Jr. of Latta, Steven Christopher Miller of Centrahoma, Cheryl Reneé Davis of Ada and Michael Finch of Mustang; six grandchildren, Vaughon Williamson, Maleha Tatum, Mallory Miller, Ty Miller, Miranda McCullar and Ace Finch; and other loving relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Bearers will be Don Black, Rodney Stick, Bill Tatum, Kenneth Williams, Kris Wilson and Jack Jones. Honorary bearers are Wayne Graves and Vince Abbott.
