Michael Louis Aday, 77, died December 13, 2023 at his home in Ada, OK, of a heart attack.  Services will be at 3:30 PM Thursday, December 21 at Criswell Funeral Home in Ada, with visitation from 2:00-3:00 PM.

Michael was born June 26, 1946 in Seneca, KS.  He was the second child of Ernest Louis Aday, of Avoca, OK, and Mary Lucille Broxterman, of Axtell, KS.  He was married to Donna Jean Archer, of Ada, from November 26, 1984, until she passed away on January 27, 2002.

Michael was a United States Marine.  He joined the Corps directly after graduating from Axtell High School in 1964.  He served two tours of intense combat in Vietnam.  While on patrol during the second tour, he was hit by a bomb rigged alongside the trail, causing grievous wounds that plagued him for the rest of his life.

Michael is survived by his sister, Linda Sayers Stoner; and brothers, Kevin Aday and Shawn Aday.
