Graveside services for Meredith Dean Potts, 85, of Ada are 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 10, 2024 at Rosedale Cemetery, Chad King will officiate.  The family will receive relatives and friends from 1 to 8 pm Sunday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mr. Potts died Monday, June 3, 2024 at his home.  He was born November 20, 1938 in Tishomingo, OK to Joe Dennis and Opal V. Hendrix Potts.

He married Joyce Beasley on August 8, 1959. Mr. Potts was a machine operator and upkeep mechanic for Brockway Glass until his retirement.  Mr. Potts loved watching his children and grandchildren playing sports. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, college softball, WWI, WWII, Civil War history and reading.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce Potts, of the home; a son, Dewayne Potts and wife Makella of Fitzhugh; a daughter, Becky King and husband Chad of Ada; seven grandchildren, Matthew Potts and wife Nikki, Mitchell Potts, Coleman King and wife Maria

, Auburn King, Ethan Carlson, Ally Carlson and Abby Carlson; three great-grandchildren, Jasper Potts, Addy Carlson and Elly Carlson.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Bearers will be DeWayne Potts, Coleman King, Chad King, Matthew Potts, Mitchell Potts, Jasper Potts and Auburn King.
