MELVIN MANUEL
ADA-Private memorial services for Melvin Keith Manuel, 60, of Ada, are pending with the family.
Mr. Manuel died Sunday, August 17, 2014 at a local hospital. He was born December 9, 1953 in Holdenville, Oklahoma to C. C. and Mary Lou Knighten Manuel. He lived in this area all his life and attended local schools.
He married Judy Gail Tatum on August 19, 1971. Mr. Manuel was a cement contractor his entire life.
Survivors include his wife, Judy Manuel, of the home; two daughters, Malisha Gail and husband Troy Moody and Amanda JoAnn and husband Bobby Snider; three sons, Steven Keith Manuel, Kevin Brian Manuel, and Melvin Phillip Manuel and his wife Nicole, all of Ada; 12 grandchildren, Dennis, Sara and Brittany Moody, Lexie and Lindsey Manuel, Heather Manuel, Caitlyn, Haley and Natalie Manuel, Destiny Manuel, Shane Wilkerson and Tucker Snider; and one great-grandchild, Alexis Eddy; his parents, C. C. and Mary Lou Manuel, of Ada; two sisters, Joyce Odom of Roff and Beverly Bishop of Tupelo; and a brother, Kenneth Manuel of Allen.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Leona Simmons; two brothers, Jimmy Lynn Manuel and Charles Dewayne Manuel; and a daughter-in-law, Katie Manuel.
