MEGAN HARROD
SASAKWA-Graveside services for Megan Danielle Harrod, 21, Sasakawa, are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Mission Hill Cemetery near Sasakwa, April Coats will officiate.
Ms. Harrod died Saturday, August 15, 2009 at Glenpool, Oklahoma. She was born September 2, 1987 in Ada, Oklahoma. She graduated from Byng High School in 2005 and graduated from OSU-Okmulgee Culinary Arts school in 2008. She had lived in Okmulgee for the past three years.
Survivors include her parents, Donnie and Leslie Alford, Sasakwa; one sister, Holly Harrod, Sasakwa; one brother, Miles Alford, Sasakwa; grandparents, Linda and Jack Grubbs, Billings and Ervina "Tootles" Alford, Ada; and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and other relatives; and a special pet, Ziggy.
She was preceded in death by her great grandmother, Irby Smith and grandfather, Dunnie Alford.
Bearers will be Wesley Harrod, Justin Henderson, Miles Alford, Danny Alford, Chris Alford and Kirby Delozier.
