Max Hibbard

Max Ladel Hibbard, age 82, of Ada passed away Sunday, October 30, 2016.

Max was born in Asher, OK on November 19, 1933 to James and Mable Crenshaw Hibbard. He married Frances Ann Knowles of Shawnee, OK and had two sons, Mike and Tim. Max was the owner and operator of Hibbard Bit Service from 1962 until his retirement in 1989. After his retirement, he and his wife enjoyed travelling the country, camping and RVing with their close circle of friends.

Max was preceded in death by his parents and older brother, Ray Hibbard.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Frances, of the home; son, Mike Hibbard of Moore; son, Tim Hibbard and wife Rhonda of Ada; his grandchildren include, Robert Hibbard and his wife Alicia of Edmond; Erin Hibbard of Oklahoma City; Sean Hibbard of Norman, Cody Hibbard and his wife Brandi of Mustang; and four great-grandchildren.

Services to honor his life will be held at Criswell Funeral Home, Ada on Wednesday, November 2 ^nd at 2:00 p.m., Revs. Jerry Wells and Harold Ware will officiate. Graveside service to follow at Vista Cemetery, Asher, OK.

Bearers will be his three grandsons and members of his Sunday School Class.
