MATTIE THURMAN
ADA-Services for Mattie Belle "Pie" Thurman, 59, of Ada, are 10:00 A.M. Thursday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Revs. Frank Trent and Willie Fish will officiate. Burial will follow at Boggy Cemetery.
Ms. Thurman died Friday, December 27, 2013 at her home. She was born September 2, 1954 at Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Cimmon and Kelsie Alexander Carpenter. She graduated from Ada High School.
Ms. Thurman was employed as a Rehabilitation Training Specialist at All About You, LLC. She was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include three brothers, Carl "Sonny" Carpenter and his wife Linda, Tulsa, Kenneth Carpenter and his wife Brenda, Checotah, and Dusty Miller and his wife Savina of Ada; six sisters, Connie Wear and her husband Randy, Ada, Sue Fish and her husband Willie, Norman, Shirley Miller, Stonewall, Leta Burwell, Ada, Mae Blankenship and her husband Edward, Ada, and Tami Morris, Ada; and several nieces and nephews whom she loved very much.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Cimmon Carpenter and Kelsie Alexander Morris; and one brother, Terry Miller.
Bearers will be Edward Blankenship, Jason Burwell, Pete Fox, Bob Fox, John Parker, and Justin Miller.
