MATT WINTON
ADA-Services for Brant Matthew Winton, 23, Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Trinity Baptist Church, Calvin Nolen will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
Mr. Winton died Sunday, November 11, 2007 near Goldsby, Oklahoma. He was born March 9, 1984 in Ada, Oklahoma to Jeff and Tammy Lynn Parker Winton. Matt graduated from Ada High School in 2002, where he was a member of the Honors Society, the Spanish Club and the Ada High School Marching Band. As a Junior in high school in 2001, he served as a page at the Oklahoma State Capital for then Senator Brad Henry. He was an award winning gymnast, winning at the Sooner State Games. Matt had attended East Central University, and was employed at I. R. T. in Ada. He was enlisted in the National Guard and set for deployment in January, 2008.
Survivors include his parents, Jeff and Tammy Winton, of the home; a sister, Lyndsey Winton, of the home; a brother, Alexander Winton, of the home; grandparents, Larry and Helen Parker, Idabel, and Martha Winton, Ada; and two aunts, Johnna White and husband Brian, Seminole, and Sandra Sawyer, Dallas, Texas.
He was preceded in death by a grandfather, Duke Winton in 1993, and an aunt, Tracy Parker in 1991.
Bearers will be Josh Fields, Rowdy Estabrooks, Shawn Estabrooks, Taylor East, David Witherington, and Jason Lee.
