MATT McCARN
ALLEN- Services for Matthew William McCarn, 18, Allen, are 10:00 A.M. Saturday at the Allen School Auditorium, with Revs. Buddy Drake and Kirk Norman officiating. Burial will follow at Allen Cemetery. Family and friends may call at the Allen Chapel from 4:00 P.M. Thursday until service time.
Matt died Tuesday, September 17, 2013 in an auto accident south of Allen. He was born October 3, 1994 in Oklahoma City to Michael Ray and Marsha Cross McCarn. He graduated from Allen High School in 2013 and was a welder's helper for R & R Pipeline. Matt enjoyed fishing, playing baseball and basketball. He was a member of Richmond Avenue Free Will Baptist Church.
Survivors are his parents, Mike and Marsha McCarn, Allen; twin sister, Heather McCarn, Allen; Maternal grandmother, JoCleta Cross, Allen; Paternal grandmother, Wanda McCarn, Allen; Paternal grandfather, Carol Don McCarn and wife Ellen, Atwood; two aunts, Brenda Linker and husband James Sr, Allen; Linda Vines and husband Jack, Allen and several cousins, Jodi, J.R., Jailynn and Jaren Porter, James "Bubba" Lindsay, Kason and Jaxson Linker as well as Kimberly, Steffan, Brendan, Ricklyn, and Daxton Jasna, and Steven, Mark and Ruth Vines, all of Allen.
Matt was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Homer "Papaw" William Cross.
Bearers are Zayne Erickson, Dakota Frazier, Martin Haney, Lesley Rinehart, Conner Johnson and Zack Conley. Honorary bearers are, Shane Rinehart, Bradley Rinehart, Cody Lively, Robert McMillin, Tyler Jarrett, Jaret Holland, Drew Back and Quinton Gordon.
