MACK KREBBS

STONEWALL-Services for Matthew "Mack" Krebbs, 88, Stonewall, are 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Wilma Ledbetter will officiate. Burial will follow at Centerhill Cemetery at Folsom, Oklahoma. The Choctaw Honor Guard will conduct military honors at the cemetery.

Mr. Krebbs died Sunday, June 8, 2008 at a Veterans Center in Oklahoma City. He was born September 21, 1919 at Folsom, Oklahoma to John W. and Provie Lee Nelson Krebbs. He attended school at Folsom.

He married Martha Ellen Gowens on September 5, 1946 at Chickasha, Oklahoma. Mr. Krebbs was a farmer and was employed at the McAlester Ammunition Depot until his retirement. He had served in the U. S. Army during World War II from May 25, 1942 until September 29, 1945. He was also a member of Amvets.

Survivors include his wife, Martha Krebbs, of the home; two daughters, Gail Krebbs Alberson, Blackwell, and Kathie Ashby, Allen; two sons, Derral Krebbs, Blackwell, and Steven Krebbs, Ada; one brother, Hiawatha Krebbs, Tecumseh; and two sisters, Leoma Claborn, Durant, and Ermalene Hobson, Manpai, Idaho; seven grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Mary Ellen Krebbs, and ten brothers and one sister.

Bearers will be Hubert Krebbs, Rick Krebbs, Kenneth Krebbs, Narman McCammon, Terry Curtis, and Kelly Krebbs.
