MATTHEW EPPLER
Matthew Earl Eppler, 26, of Ada
Mr. Eppler died Tuesday, April 21, 2009 at his home.
He was born October 4, 1982 at Pauls Valley, Oklahoma to Earl Bentley Eppler, Jr. and Janice Matthews Sherbourne. He attended Francis and Byng schools.
He married Erica Veronica John July 7, 2007 at Ada. Mr. Eppler was currently serving with the Army National Guard. He served one year in Iraq. Matt was a loving husband, devoted father and caring friend.
Survivors include his wife, Erica Veronica Eppler, of the home; a son, Stryder Lee Eppler, of the home; a daughter, Nixie Noel Eppler; his parents, Janice and Bryan Sherbourne, Ada; sisters, Haley Miller and husband Troy, Ada, Chelsea Furr, Ada, and Sage Furr, Coalgate; a niece, Carlee Soreman; and a nephew, Tucker James Miller; his father-in-law, Bennett John, Ada; mother-in-law, Sheila John, Ada; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Harold "Cotton" and Maxine Matthews of Francis; Earl and Marie Eppler of Wynnewood; his biological father, Earl Bentley Eppler; and a brother, Daniel Lee Furr.
The family wishes to express their appreciation and sincere thanks for all the acts of kindness shown to them in their time of sorrow.
