Services for George Matthew "Matt" Kirk, 80, of Roff are 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 9, 2024 at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Bro. Fred Bailey will officiate. Burial will be at 2:00 p.m.at the Fairview Cemetery at Apache, Oklahoma. The family will receive friends from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mr. Kirk passed away Saturday, February 3, 2024 at an Ada hospital. He was born July 19, 1943 at Clarendon, TX to Rev. James Patrick Kirk and Ila Samantha Ford Kirk.

He married Linda Joyce McClure December 21, 1962. She preceded him in death July 22, 2013. Mr. Kirk was a self-employed repairman until his retirement.

Survivors include a son, Timothy Lynn Kirk of Roff; three sisters, Ella Ross and Mary Brown, both of Roff, and Susan Nell Householder of Paris, TX; and five grandchildren, Dustin Kirk, Ashley Utley, Julie Pennington, Cheyenne Kirk and Samantha Kirk; ten great-grandchildren; and many friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a son, George Matthew Kirk, Jr.; and brother, Jimmy Leon Kirk.
