Alene Tucker

Services for Mary Alene Tucker, 87, of Oil Center are 2:00 p.m. Monday at the Oil Center Pentecostal Holiness Church, Revs. Cary Gerth and Jerry Osburn and Mr. Mike Lane will officiate. Burial will follow at McGee Cemetery near Stratford. The family will receive friends from 4:00 p.m until 6:00 p.m. Sunday at Criswell Funeral Home.

Mrs. Tucker passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2016 at her home. She was born August 27, 1929 at the Bebee Community to Melvin E. and Dorchie Golden Booth. She attended Bebee grade school and graduated from Vanoss High School.

She married Paul D. Tucker July 21, 1946 in Ada. He preceded her in death May 18, 2008. Mrs. Tucker was the co-owner and operator of Booth Well Service and owner of Tucker's Polled Herford Ranch. She was a longtime member of the Oil Center Pentecostal Holinesss Church, where she served as the first secretary of the Women's Auxiliary from 1954 – 1996. Mrs. Tucker was a Director of the Youth Department at church from 1954 to 1970 and the Director of the Vacation Bible School from 1954 until 1976.

Survivors include two daughters, Rev. Paula Tucker of Shidler and Tonya Willoughby of Oil Center; her grandchildren, Rindy Bacon and husband Ernie of Oil Center, Chad Tucker and wife April of Kingston, and Nakia Rhodes and husband Gary of Oil Center; her great-grandchildren, Jessica Bacon of Eddy, TX, Candi Rayburn of Antlers, ShiAnn Tucker and Bradley Tucker, both of Shidler, Colton Tucker and Piper Tucker, both of Kingston, and Kya Rhodes, Oil Center; her great-great grandchildren, Corbin Urbanovsky and Kinley Urbanovsky, both of Eddy, TX, Canyon Anderson of Eddy, TX and Trip Rayburn of Antlers; a brother-in-law, B. J. Robertson of Oil Center; sister-in-law, Ruth Tucker of Moore; and other family members, Stacy Robertson, Oil Center, Tammie Robertson, Sacramento, CA; Cathy Prater and Dot Hood, both of Moore; and numerous other family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dorchie and Melvin Booth; her husband, Paul D. Tucker; sister, Colene Robertson; son-in-law, Paul Willoughby; grandson, Bradley Duvall; and brother-in-law, M. R. Tucker.

Bearers will be John Booth, Jupie Booth, David Booth, Cole Booth, J. D. Bacon and Chris Balthrop. Honorary bearers will be Jeff Hayes, Bill Curtis, Toney Roberts, Lloyd Burk, Sr., Jerry McDaniel and Jim Stiles. The casket escort will be Stacy Robertson.
