MAGDALENE STEWART
ARLINGTON, TEXAS-Graveside services for Mary Magdalene Stewart, 93, Arlington, Texas, formerly of Allen and Roff are 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Rosedale Cemetery in Ada, Rev. Steve Wilburn will officiate.
Mrs. Stewart died Sunday, December 26, 2010 at an Arlington, Texas hospital. She was born April 10, 1917 in Allen, Oklahoma to Pharis and Edna McCellan Turner. She graduated from Gerty High School and moved to the Roff area from Allen.
She married Louie T. Stewart on April 12, 1934 in Ada, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on August 31, 1989 in Roff. Mrs. Stewart was a Sales Associate for Glover's Store and J. C. Penney in Ada, Oklahoma. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Fitzhugh.
Survivors include her grandchildren, Jeffrey L. Stewart and his wife Joy, Boerne, Texas, and Julie L. Ballenger and her husband Daniel, Rockwall, Texas; her great grandchildren, Alex Stewart and Josh Stewart of Boerne, Texas, Tyler Ballenger and Cameron Ballenger of Rockwall, Texas; and former daughter-in-law, Nevada Fluke and her husband Carl of Granbury, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Louie T. Stewart, a son, Delane Stewart, and seven siblings.
