MARY STEINER
ADA-Graveside services for Mary Hodges Steiner, 92, are 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Memorial Park Cemetery, Mickey Cowan will officiate.
Mrs. Steiner died Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at a local nursing home. She was born January 5, 1918 at Wichita Falls, Texas to William L. and Mattie O. Goodlett Hodges. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from East Central University and a Master's degree in Elementary Education from East Central.
She married Robert L. (Bob) Steiner December 31, 1949 in Wichita Falls, Texas. He preceded her in death on July 6, 2003. Mr. and Mrs. Steiner moved to Ada around 1950 from Wichita Falls. Mrs. Steiner was a homemaker and a Real Estate Agent and Broker. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Ada.
Survivors include a brother, Jerry Hodges of Iowa Park, Texas, a son, Robert Steiner and his wife Esther, Las Cruces, NM; her grandchildren, Sarah Steiner, Rachel Steiner, Janie Henderson and her husband Steve, Kevin Steiner and his wife Aislinn, and Amber Brooks and husband Joe; six great grandchildren, which includes Conan Henderson, James Henderson, Kayla Brooks; and three great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Bob Steiner, a son, Courtney Steiner, a daughter, Franchelle Stark, and a grandchild, Alan Stark.
