MARY BUSH
ADA-Services for Mary Katherine Spohn Bush, 73, Ada, are 12:00 Noon Thursday in the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Norman Stanfield will officiate. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mrs. Bush died Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at her home. She was born April 19, 1937 at Oshkosh, Nebraska to Loren William and Anna Lora Hayes Spohn. She attended grade school in Nebraska and Colorado and graduated from high school in Kimball, Nebraska.
She married Sammie Otis Bush on November 18, 1958 at Imperial, Nebraska. He preceded her in death on March 26, 1999 at Talihina, Oklahoma. Mrs. Bush was employed in retail sales and she was also a homemaker. She was a Charter Member of New Hope Baptist Church.
Survivors include four sons, Loren Joseph Bush of Ada, Matthew Wayne Bush and his wife Penny, Ada, Daniel Karl Bush and his wife Marcy, Ector, TX, and Edward Abraham Bush of Kansas City; one granddaughter, Katelyn Danelle Bush, Ector, TX; two grandsons, Mark Dillon Bush, Ada and Trevor James Bush and his wife Bailey, Ada; a great granddaughter, Tesla Bush, Ada; one sister, Maida Lee Gotfrey and husband Jim, Dix, NE; three nieces, Dixie Luke and husband Dion, Hotchkiss, CO, Janice Chesnik and husband Chuck, Paonia, CO, and Mary Ellen of Montana; and three nephews, Jake Jacobs, Paonia, CO, Loren Gotfrey, Pine Bluffs, WY, and Aaron Gotfrey, Dix, NE.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one sister, Marjorie Ann Jacobs, a niece, Laura Ann Gotfrey, and nephews, John Gotfrey and Paul Glen Gotfrey.
Bearers will be Loren J. Bush, Wayne Bush, Danny Bush, Eddie Bush, Wesley Bowers and Don Bowers.
