MARY ROCHETTE
BRIGHTON, MICHIGAN-Graveside services for Mary Alice Muse Rochette, 86, Brighton, Michigan, formerly of Allen are 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the Allen Cemetery, Rev. Buddy Drake will officiate.
Mrs. Rochette died Monday, December 5, 2011 in Brighton. She was born January 8, 1925 in Allen, Oklahoma to Edgar and Carrie Gilmore Muse. She graduated from Allen High School, and worked at the Allen Post Office. Later, she worked at Tinker Field where she met her future husband.
She married Joseph J. Rochette on March 16, 1946 in Dearborn, Michigan.
Survivors include her husband, Joseph J. Rochette, of the home; one daughter, Linda Mays and her husband Jerry of Howell, Michigan; two sons, Tom E. Rochette and wife Trudy of Telluride, CO, and Robert J. Rochette of Melbourne, FL; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; three sisters, Illoyne Kelly of Winston Salem, NC, Vermell Yoakum of Corpus Christi, TX, and Edwina Braxton of Ada; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Carrie Muse; a granddaughter, Jennifer Rodriquez; and a sister, Emma Lou Fleming.
