IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Mary Frances
Rich
May 1, 1946 – October 9, 2025
Mary Frances Rich
Mary Frances Rich, 79, of Ada, Oklahoma, left her earthly home to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven on October 9, 2025. She was surrounded by the love of her family, just as she had always surrounded them with hers.
Mary was born and raised with a deep sense of devotion to family, which remained the central passion of her life. A dedicated clerical worker by profession, she found her true calling and greatest joy in being a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother.
She was the proud mother of Lena Cauley and husband Wayne, Sam Rich and wife Terry, and DeAnn McDonald and husband Kevin. Mary's children were her greatest accomplishments, and she never missed a chance to share their successes with pride and joy. Her love and pride extended to her (10) grandchildren: Amy, Tasha, Heather, Wanda, Tara, Sierra, Ashley, Tryven, DJ, and Wyatt, (14) great-grandchildren, and (3) great-great-grandchildren—each of whom she believed to be the very best. She also held very closely a brother, Glen Gouge and wife Brenda; sister, Tamara Ketter and husband Daniel; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mary loved fiercely and unconditionally. She had a way of making everyone feel seen, heard, and cherished. There was never any doubt where one stood with Mary; her honesty, warmth, and loyalty left a lasting impact on all who knew her.
She had a zest for life and enjoyed traveling, camping, and spending precious time with her family. Her legacy is one of love, laughter, and deep family connection.
Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ethelbert (Albert) Dean Rich, as well as her mother and father. Though she will be deeply missed, her spirit lives on in the lives she touched so profoundly.
A celebration of Mary's life will be held at Criswell Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 14 at 10:00 a.m.; Rev. Steve Wilburn will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
Pallbearers include: Sam Rich, Kevin McDonald, Wayne Cauley, DJ Lewis, Kaiden Rich, and Wyatt McDonald. Honorary pallbearers are Glen Gouge and Daniel Ketter. All who knew and loved her are welcome to attend and share in honoring her memory.
