Mary Helen Long

Services for Mary Helen Long, 88, of Coalgate are 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 2, 2021 at the Faith Assembly of God Church in Ada, Rev. Bob Wingo will officiate.

Mrs. Long passed away Friday, January 29, 2021 at the Coalgate nursing home. She was born December 4, 1932 in Purcell, OK to W. C. and Mary Alice Davis Hatfield.

She married Paul Van Long August 31, 1955 in Henrietta, TX. Mrs. Long was a telephone operator and later she worked in the business office of Southwestern Bell Telephone. She was a member of Faith Assembly of God Church in Ada.

Survivors include her husband, Paul Van Long, of the home; son, Scot Long and wife Julie; granddaughter, Kalee Brearton and husband Jake; grandson, Jacob Long and wife Sarah; and a great-grandson, Levi Long.

She was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Lloyd Hatfield, Jimmy Hatfield, Billy Hatfield and Larry Hatfield; and a sister, Mildred Dorman.
