MARGARET LOGSDON
FITTSTOWN-Services for Margaret Logsdon, 75, Fittstown are 10:00 a.m. Monday at the Fittstown Baptist Church, Rev. Chris Brannon will officiate. Burial will follow at Franks Cemetery.
Mrs. Logsdon died Thursday, August 18, 2011 at a Norman hospital. She was born October 9, 1935 in Stillwater, Oklahoma to Lloyd and Ada Davis Carpenter. She attended Stillwater schools.
She married John T. Logsdon on July 3, 1953. He preceded her in death on October 14, 2007. Mrs. Logsdon was a homemaker and a member of the Methodist Church.
Survivors include a son, Matt Logsdon and his wife Darlene of Fittstown; two daughters, Sherry Beasley and her husband Steve, Fitzhugh, and Terry Love and her husband Harvey, Duncan; a brother, Lloyd "Bud" Carpenter and his wife Carol of Glencoe, OK; two sisters, Delores Ward of Glencoe and Marilea McCoy of Tulsa; a brother-in-law, Wayne Reed of Morrison; 17 grandchildren, Heather, Chad, Holly, Tim, Haley, Jonathan, Hoyt, Stacy, John, Fredonia, Kenneth, Deanna, Felicia, Berry, Natosha, Carrie and Adam; and 13 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Nora Ethel Reed, a brother-in-law, Clem A. Ward, and a grandson, Lee Dewey Beier.
Bearers will be John G. Logsdon, Kenneth Logsdon, Hoyt Beasley, Berry Bailey, Tim Larman, Jonathan Wright and Chad Mercer.
