MARY JANE BYRD
ADA-Services for Mary Jane Byrd, 58, of Ada, are 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Morris Memorial Baptist Church, Revs. Martin Gustin and Gary Jamar will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday at Criswell Funeral Home.
Mrs. Byrd died Tuesday, March 26, 2013 at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was born September 18, 1954 in Ada, Oklahoma to Charles and Patsy Scott Forehand. She attended Latta schools and graduated from Latta High School. She also attended beauty college.
She married Richard T. Byrd in 1971. Mrs. Byrd owned and operated the Magic Touch Beauty Salon on Ada and she was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her husband, Richard T. Byrd, of the home; two daughters, Kristi Michelle Byrd of Ada, and Laura Jean Ray and husband Todd of Ada; her parents, Charles and Pat Forehand of Ada; two grandchildren, Shelbe Ray and Easton Ray of Ada; two sisters, Nelda Osborn and Frances Alexander, both of Ada; and a brother, Charles Hugh Forehand of Ada.
Bearers will be Danny Davis, Mike Cathey, Johnny Osborn, Mike Osborn, Chris Alexander and Chad Alexander.
