MARY HICKMAN-BARRINGER
ADA-Services for Mary Ellen Hickman-Barringer, 90, Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Friday at the Criswell Funeral Home Chapel, Rev. Carl Hayes will officiate. Burial will follow at Rosedale Cemetery.
Mrs. Hickman-Barringer died Tuesday, March 10, 2009 at an Oklahoma City hospital. She was born December 31, 1918 at Foreman, Arkansas to Lum E. and Ottie S. Eubanks Trammell.
She married J. Arvil Hickman on May 29, 1940. He died July 1, 2000. She later married Eddie W. "Bill" Barringer August 24, 2005 at Ada. Mrs. Hickman-Barringer was a beautician in earlier years, and later owned and managed rental property. She was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include her husband, Eddie W. "Bill" Barringer, Ada; one son, Jerry Hickman and his wife Sherry, Ada; six grandchildren, Holly Hickman-Pain and her husband John, James J. Hickman, Anatasia Nicole Hickman, Nadia Victoria Hickman, Angela Cape, and Robyn Cape.
She was preceded in death by a son, James Hickman February 4, 2006.
