Corene Evett

Services for Mary Corene (Sims) Evett, 90, of Ada, formerly of Allen are 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the Allen School Auditorium, Rev. Buddy Drake will officiate. Burial will follow at Citra Cemetery.

Mrs. Evett passed away Monday, July 31, 2017 at her home. She was born September 7, 1926 at Stuart, Oklahoma to Curtis and Syble Jones Sims. She attended Allen schools.

She married W. B. Evett on March 5, 1946. He preceded her in death March 9, 1996.

Survivors include a son, John Matthew Evett of Vienna, VA; a granddaughter, April Christian Evett of Perkins; and three great-grandchildren, Gracie, Danica and Lilly of Perkins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a son, Michael Evett; and a sister, Polly Sims, formerly of Allen.
